QUIET HOURS

Your nights stay yours.

Quiet Hours privacy policy · Updated September 11, 2026

Microphone

Quiet Hours processes microphone input on your phone to estimate sound levels and frequency-band energy. It does not record, save, or upload audio. Microphone permission is requested only when you start metering.

Saved nights

Overnight sessions store levels, frequency data, timestamps, thresholds, device model, and monitoring gaps in a local database. This information is not sent to us. Your normal iCloud or computer backup may include it, according to your device settings.

Subscriptions

Apple and RevenueCat process purchases and subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase information so we can unlock Pro, restore purchases, and understand subscription performance. Quiet Hours does not send microphone input or monitoring records to RevenueCat. We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.

Sharing & deletion

You choose whether to export a report or incident card and who receives it. Reports include times and device information, so review them before sharing. You can delete completed nights in History. Deleting the app removes its local data; your backups and shared copies are managed separately.
